Share

As the single ingredient of our Organic Rosewater Facial Toner, we know all the benefits rose hydrosol water has to offer. It helps clean, balance, and hydrate our skin, and it even acts as a makeup-setter!

And as our product of the month, we’re here to celebrate all this simple (but powerful!) ingredient has to offer. So today, we have five new ways to use our Rosewater Toner you probably haven’t thought of yet!

1. Hair rinse

After you shampoo and condition your hair, add two tablespoons of rose water to your hair for an easy, but effective, rinse. Not only will you amp up your the hydration in your hair, but you’ll also be left with a sweet rose scent. You can even use this method on non-shampoo/conditioner days as a quick wash and oil reducer!

2. Healer of cuts and burns

Rose water has antiseptic and antibacterial properties that can clean, fight infection, and help heal wounds. This even applies to razor burn! As a natural anti-inflammatory, this is a perfect solution for irritated skin. Spray the toner onto a cotton pad and apply to legs, bikini, or underarms to heal soothe the skin and reduce overall redness.

3. Mouthwash

With antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, rose water can help cleanse the mouth! Here’s a natural take on the harsh, minty mouthwash you usually find. And you won’t have to worry if you end up drinking some of it – it’s totally safe to consume.

4. De-stress tool

Stressed out? Rose water can help. With known anti-anxiety and anti-depressant properties, rose petals have been known to relax the central nervous system and remove headaches! Apply a compress soaked in rose water to relieve pain and relax the mind. For the day to day, de-stress with a steamy bath scented with rose water. This not only softens the skin, but adds a light rose scent that’ll last all day.

5. As a substitute for dryer sheets

Dryer sheets can use questionable ingredients and sometimes be too strong of a scent for most people. As an alternative, you can spray the rosewater a few times over your damp clothes before you start the dryer. Your clothes will come out freshly and subtly scented like roses! As an alternative, try adding some rosewater to the water chamber of your iron to add a rose scent to freshly washed clothes!
