meet our cocokind impact foundation winter 2018 grantees!

The results are in! The Cocokind Impact Foundation are thrilled to announce our Women of Impact for the Winter 2018 cycle.

The Cocokind Impact Foundation provides financial grants between $2,500-$10,000 to female founders in the health, wellness, and sustainability industries who aim to create social impact through business. In addition, each grantee is paired with a mentor, who is a leader in our industries, for one year.

Meet our second class of inspiring female founders!

Katia Bechara & Gabi Serra of Mother Earth Miami​​

Mother Earth Miami is a Miami-based urban farm that holds workshops and grows vegetables, herbs and edible flowers for the community.  Their goal is to help the community understand how we are connected to Mother Earth and how we eat, what we grow, and how we nurture ourselves has an impact on our culture.

Sarah Seligman of Bakefully Yours

Bakefully Yours is a Virginia-based healthy-conscious bakery. Their mission is to provide delicious, gluten free, paleo desserts, in hopes of providing sweets for all.  Bakefully Yours strives to make healthier treats that do not lack quality or taste!

Sarah's Mentor is Nicole Cogan, founder of @nobread.

Alana Hess of NAPTOWN FLO

FLO is an Indianapolis-based garden. Their unique products and essential oils are designed to promote healing and rejuvenation. Through hosting workshops and providing education to the community, their mission is to validate the exquisite power behind plants and herbs.

Alana's Mentor is Priscilla Tsai, CEO/founder of cocokind.

Jameela Ali of ROSY

ROSY is a conscious skincare company dedicated to creating high-quality products with pure botanical ingredients grown in small farming communities in Pakistan. Their aim is to help consumers achieve their best skin while helping marginalized communities of women living in Northwest Pakistan rise out of poverty.

Jameela's Mentor is Elizabeth Stein, founder of Purely Elizabeth.
